CommUNITY Barnet is supporting local resident Tolu Faleti to raise money for Barnet's First Multi-Sensory Playground in East Finchley!

29 June 2017

The plan is to creatively transform the abandoned community centre playground and park space in the Tarling Road Community Centre into Barnet's first multi-sensory playground and garden designed to inspire play and learning through the five senses.

Tolu is hoping to raise funds through the Mayor of London’s Crowdfund London programme. The Mayor of London is pledging up to £50,000 to community led-projects. The Mayor of London is inviting communities across London to come together to imagine, fund and create local places that people love – from a community garden in the heart of the city, re-establishing a historic market or the creative use of forgotten spaces to ambitious plans to construct elevated parks and uncover forgotten lidos.

Spacehive is a funding platform that has been commissioned by the Mayor of London’s office to enable project creators attract funding from local people, companies and councils via the same platform.

If you would like to make a pledge to help support Tolu’s vision please have a look at her pitch https://www.spacehive.com/sensoryplayground_finchley

Thank you

Julie
