Job Title: Hate Crime Coordinator

Project: Community Services

Salary: £24,139 p.a. (pro-rata)

Hours of work: 18


Barnet Mencap is looking for a Hate Crime Coordinator.


The successful candidate will:

  • Support Hate Crime Reporting Centres
  • Raise awareness of hate crime
  • Develop a victim-centred and multi-agency approach


Hate crime remains under-reported and the Coordinator will work with statutory and voluntary organisations to increase reports, engage with residents and the community, including disabled people, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender groups and Gypsy, Roma Traveller groups, run workshops and coordinate communications and promotions across Barnet.


The post is funded by MOPAC for two years.
