Advocacy

Advocacy means influencing decisions by public bodies in order to improve the lives of disadvantage people. It can include meeting with or lobbying decision makers, media work or organising public events to raise awareness about an issue. 

CommUNITY Barnet encourages all of our member organisations to use advocacy to promote the valuable work that is done by voluntary and community organisations in Barnet.
