Hours: Part Time 18 hrs per week or Full Time 35 hrs per week 

Location: Based in London Borough of Barnet

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 p.a. (dependent upon experience)

Renaisi has recently won an ESF contract to deliver a partnership project in Barnet called the WorkFinder.  

They are seeking a proactive and committed individual to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of employment professionals to source job vacancies and placements for their jobseekers and build long lasting relationships with employers.  You will use your tried and tested skills to match job-ready clients to vacancies, working with them to make sure they are the best person for the job.

It is essential that you have a minimum of 2 years experience in a related sales/recruitment or employer engagement role, and that you are able to demonstrate successful achievements in a target driven environment for at least 3 years. You will be outgoing, approachable and confident, and a level 3 Qualification in Advice and Guidance would be helpful. An Enhanced CRB check will be required to be undertaken for this role.

Paid Opportunity to Review London Maternity Services with the London Local Supervising Authority (LSA)

 

Have you used a London maternity service in the past 5 years?  Would you like to help improve maternity services across London?

Lay Auditors – to assist the London local supervising Midwifery Officer with annual audits of maternity services across the capital.

 

The London Local Supervising Authority (London LSA) is responsible for safeguarding the health of women and their families using London’s maternity services.  It does this through an appointed Midwifery Officer.  Her role is to appoint and oversee the work of Supervisors of Midwives whose in turn support midwives in the care they give to women and their families and support women in making choices during their pregnancy and birth. 

The LSA Midwifery Officer is looking to recruit up to ten maternity service users to take part in audits taking place at hospitals across London. Candidates will have used a London maternity service in the past 5 years. People currently employed in the NHS are not eligible for these roles. 

They are looking for people able who can question, analyse and make decisions about sensitive and confidential issues. You will be expected to work independently in part, gather the views and experiences of maternity service users, review written data, and compile your findings into a written report. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with maternity users from a diverse range of backgrounds.

You need to be able to give a time commitment of between 6 and 8 days a year, for which you will be entitled to an allowance of £250 a day. This allowance includes childcare and travel expenses you may incur.

Training will be provided for successful candidates.  The initial term of appointment will be one year, from 1st April 2012.

The closing date for applications is Monday 20 February 5.00pm and interviews will be held on the 8, 9 and 12 March 2012.  Training for successful applicants will take place on the 26 and 27 March 2012.

Norwood is a charity that supports people with learning disabilities, children and families in need.

Norwood is looking for a new fundraiser to join their growing team and work alongside the Statutory Bids and Tenders Manager to create inspiring and innovative projects, identify funding opportunities and complete applications to secure new and existing income from local authorities and the government. The successful candidate will also support the initiation and monitoring of new projects.

They are looking for an excellent communicator with outstanding writing and project management skills. Knowledge of the statutory sector is an advantage although not absolutely necessary.

The position will give the right candidate the opportunity to develop existing bid writing skills, gain detailed knowledge of statutory funding, personally secure significant levels of income and work as part of a 25 strong professional fundraising team. You will meet and work closely with the people who deliver Norwood services and local authority commissioners as well as see the projects first hand.

GroOops is Looking for an Administrator

 

Job Title: Administrator

Salary: £8.00 - £10.00 per hour dependent on experience

Days: 5 days per week (Mondays to Fridays)

Hours: Approximately 25 hours (9.30am – 2.30pm) or similar

Location: North London

 

GroOops is looking for someone who is methodical, good with time management, has an eye for presentation, attention to detail, excellent IT skills and is conversant with Excel, Reports and graphs. You will preferably have some experience of being involved with a charity before and must have had experience of being an administrator. 

They are looking to recruit an experienced individual who has loads of enthusiasm, a great rapport with people and a ‘can do’ attitude that will consolidate our existing administration. You will be mainly office based and integral to the co-ordination of their small inter-disciplinary team which consists of therapists, counsellors, arts, drama, education and youth work practitioners and you will work directly with their Director and lead members of staff. 

You will need to be available on Mondays to Fridays from 9.30 am until 2.30 (or similar) during term times and one day per week during school holidays, in our pleasant second floor based office overlooking North London. You will be expected to be flexible during times of increased workload and to provide some voluntary hours when necessary. Time in lieu is offered during quieter times. Hours of work can vary particularly with projects that involve performances and exhibitions. In return GroOops offer a relaxed and inspiring environment, great camaraderie, good training opportunities, career development and subsidised lunches.

One of Barnet Carers Centre’s services helps individuals to live independently at home through the Community & Home Support Service (CHSS).  We require friendly and reliable people trained to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, who would like to undertake Care Work within the Borough of Barnet. 

You must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week ideally early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights and MUST have a work permit

You may be required to work at short notice and must be able to travel to and from work in a short space of time so having your own transport is helpful but not essential.
