Other CommUNITY Barnet Membership advantages
Members can take advantage of our many services including financial advice, organisational development and information resources. We can offer you practical support with training on many important areas such as finance, governance, IT, new ways of working and fundraising.
You can join our six networks where you can discuss shared interests and concerns and engage with local partnerships.
We can help you access the best tools to search for possible funders and provide relevant information. You can also access our regular course on writing successful funding applications.
If your organisation works with children and young people take advantage of our integrated Children's Service which provides specialist development support, information and networking opportunities. Our BOBBY Panel (for 8-13 year olds) offers a child's eye evaluation of your service as well as offering training and experience to your young service users.
CommUNITY Barnet represents voluntary and community organisations at local, sub regional (North London), regional (London) and national level.
We currently have a membership of approx 260 voluntary and community groups and work with/reach out to a total of approx 1000 organisations, representing all aspects of voluntary and community activity, from social care to culture, encompassing local branches of large national charities as well as grassroots self-help groups, faith groups, community sports and arts groups.
