More than 400 local community based organisations in Barnet offer culturally sensitive tailored activities for the hugely diverse communities in Barnet.
They offer arts, mother-tongue schools, caring services, advice and information for children and adults alike. For example, did you know there are 22 supplementary schools offering communities language and culture teaching in Barnet? What about the luncheon clubs for older adults catering for communities with Asian, African Caribbean, Greek Cypriot and Jewish backgrounds to mention a few?
