Services

CommUNITY Barnet is the main voluntary and community infrastructure organisation in Barnet. We offer a range of information, advice, training and consultancy services; support partnership working and enable representation in local planning through the Local Strategic Partnership and its joint working structures.

Key services offered are:

• individual advice and consultancy sessions, organisational health checks, support in organisational development and with individual specific enquiries
• regular training programme, including workshops, seminars, briefings and conferences
• information service, including the provision of resources such as toolkits and publications and the promotion of events, jobs and services
• facilitation and support of voluntary sector and cross-sector networks, forums and partnership boards

We have an integrated Volunteer Centre and a dedicated Children and Young People's Service and host the North London CVS Partnership, encompassing Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest, which works together to represent the local sector in the London region and to bring in additional resources into the subregion.
