A finance volunteer is needed to help in the crucial day to day running of the charity. Working as part of a close knit team, you will play a vital role in helping to manage the charity’s finances in order to help us provide fantastic opportunities and services for other organisations and groups.

All candidates should be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, have good numeric skills, as well as the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and attention to detail are essential. The ability to multitask and handle a varied workload is desirable. No accountancy experience is necessary.

  • Payroll
  • Processing journal entries
  • Filing and record keeping
  • Bookkeeping
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Dealing with outstanding invoices

The ideal candidate suited for this role is someone who is pro-active with a strong work-ethic, and excellent communication skills. Applicants should demonstrate an all-round positive attitude, ability to multi-task and a readiness to engage with all assigned tasks.

Commitment - At least one day a week.
